Belated shots of an adult American Golden Plover that I found on Omey Strand back on 13th September of this year. It hung around until at least 26th September. This is the second adult I've had here with the last adult being also on 13th September 2016. I also had a juvenile here back in November 2008. I'm surprised I haven't had more here considering its one of the few spots in Connemara that holds a Golden Plover flock.
